Strivings, Waves, Changes, Cycles
I use the word "striving" in a very wide sense. Striving as the wish of a being, as a wave of water, as inertia, and anything similar.
Striving as a mass of consciousnesses that strives for something, then after reaching the goal becomes calm, and then another mass of consciousnesses strives for something else.
For example, waves of water. A certain part of water molecules moves in one direction, strives, and in this way creates a wave because many such molecules move in the same direction. When it reaches its goal, or in other words uses its energy or satisfies its wish, this wave becomes calm. Then another part of the water molecules strives to move in another direction, creating a new wave. In this example it does not matter how we name the reason for movement, whether it is inertia or conscious striving. I want to point to the fact that the wave is created by a large number of parts moving in one direction. Now we need to imagine that in place of each water molecule there is a large number of consciousnesses. This is the nature of strivings, waves, changes, cycles, and so on.
For example, if a person, or some other being, strives for something, this is a wave that will disappear after using its energy. And if the wave was not balanced, then there must be another wave in another direction. So, after getting what you want, very often you want something else.
If strivings were not satisfied, they do not go away. They stay, build up, and change their form. Such stored striving is like water kept behind a dam, like a charged capacitor, or like anything with inner tension.
