Paths of Knowing
Awareness or knowledge of anything can happen in two directions.
The usual path, clear to everyone, is from body to consciousness. Through what we see, hear, and feel, information comes to the brain. In the brain, this information is filtered by personality. Then this information goes to consciousness. For human consciousness to truly understand it, the information or experience must go through this path many times, or be joined by strong emotions and energies.
The other, reverse path is from consciousness to body. Information comes to consciousness, and consciousness, so to speak, understands something. Then this information, this experience, goes to the brain. The brain tries to find words, images, colors, and other concepts that are in memory in order to describe it. Then it can be expressed in words, pictures, actions, and so on.
These are the main flows of experience within what we call aliveness.
Some information and some concepts that I describe here came to me through the path from consciousness to body.
