Planet Earth Is a School

Planet Earth is a school. The main goal of everyone is experience.

We see different people at different levels of consciousness and development, just as in school we see students in different classes. We see very few truly highly developed people whom everyone should learn from, just as in school there are fewer teachers than students. If only teachers were born on Earth, then this would not be a school, but something else. In school there are different lessons and breaks between lessons; in the same way, on Earth there are different periods of learning, and sometimes breaks.

This also explains well why we do not remember past lives. Why people often do not feel the pain and joy of other people and other beings. If we remembered all this, then our behavior would be the same in the same situations. But we do not remember how we acted before, and now we can choose a different path of events, which in turn allows us to get more experience, and that is the main goal.

In the Vedas (1) it is said that earlier people (in my view, beings that looked like people) could do everything and knew how to do everything. They were good thinkers and good warriors, and they could work well in any profession. But later these skills were divided. Now one person's purpose is to be a teacher, or a warrior, or a trader, or someone else. Now people need to know how to work together. This increases the amount of experience.

Note 1: In this case, it is the Mahabharata. But I do not see the Vedas as a purely Hindu work. For me, this is knowledge about the world that was best kept on the land of modern India.
